How to Sport Cool Circle Beards in 2024 & More

Circle Beards: Common with a Circular Beard

The right beard can transform your face, highlighting your best features and giving you a masculine finish.

Circle beards could be just what you’re looking for if you want a stylish beard that can complement your face shape.

This beard has a circular shape, which can be subtle or more dramatic, depending on your preference.

It usually has a very neat appearance, although those who prefer a more rugged look may wish to experiment a bit with varying lengths and thicknesses.

This is a good choice for older men.

How to Shave a Circle Beard

So the question is how do you trim your beard to get a circle beard? Here are some tips from Gillette:

  1. Select a Fixed-Length Comb for Trimming – The tool that Gillette recommends is their all purpose styler which comes with three comb attachments for different lengths.
  2. Trim Your Facial Hair so that it is even everywhere.
  3. Define Your Goatee Shape – Remove your trimmer’s comb attachment and shave off as much of your beard as possible in areas other than where you intend your circle beard to be. In essence, remove as much hair as possible from your cheeks and neck in preparation for a clean shave of those areas.
  4. Check for symmetry as you go – Be careful not to trim too much in the area where you want your circle beard to be.
  5. Prep Your Face – Once you have the general shape of your circle beard set, it’s time for some definition. Begin by washing your face with warm water, which will also moisten your facial hair in preparation for a razor shave. Lather up the parts of your face that you will be shaving completely with shaving gel. Shaving gel helps to prevent nicks, cuts, and irritation.
  6. Shave with Light, Gentle Strokes – If you are using the Gillette all purpose styler, attach the razor blade onto your styler (otherwise you can use any other shaving razor), to completely shave off the facial hair on your face other than where you want your circle beard to be. Use light gentle strokes to get a close shave.
  7. Rinse Your Blades Often to ensure hair and shaving cream do not clog up your razor.
  8. Edge with the Precision Trimmer – Use your razor’s precision trimmer to define your circle beard’s edges.
  9. Rinse, Towel, and Moisturize – Rinse your face with cool water. Towel off, and then apply a hydrating aftershave lotion to help your skin feel soft and comfortable.
