How Was Hell Archives Paulo Coelho Received?
Hell Archives did not do well. As Paulo Coelho writes in Like the Flowing River:
I had published, at my own expense, a book entitled The Archives of Hell [Hell’s Archives in other references] (of which I am very proud, but which is not currently available in bookshops simply because I have not yet found the courage to revise it). We all know how difficult it is to get published, but it is an even more complicated business getting your book into the shops. Every week, my wife would visit the bookshops in one part of the city, whilst I would go to another part to do the same thing.”

Aleph Paulo Coelho Summary
Aleph by Paulo Coelho is a supernatural tale about the author himself. From the book publisher’s website:
In his most personal novel to date, internationally bestselling author Paulo Coelho returns with a remarkable journey of self-discovery. Like the main character in his much-beloved The Alchemist, Paulo is facing a grave crisis of faith. As he seeks a path of spiritual renewal and growth, his only real option is to begin again—to travel, to experiment, to reconnect with people and the landscapes around him.
Setting off to Africa, and then to Europe and Asia via the Trans-Siberian railroad, he initiates a journey to revitalize his energy and passion. Even so, he never expects to meet Hilal. A gifted young violinist, she is the woman Paulo loved five hundred years before—and the woman he betrayed in an act of cowardice so far-reaching that it prevents him from finding real happiness in this life. Together they will initiate a mystical voyage through time and space, traveling a path that teaches love, forgiveness, and the courage to overcome life’s inevitable challenges. Beautiful and inspiring, Aleph invites us to consider the meaning of our own personal journeys.“
I very much enjoyed reading Aleph, and if you are considering reading it, I recommend it highly especially if you are interested in the supernatural.
Paulo Coelho The Genie and the Roses Paulo Coelho
The Genie and the Roses is a 2004 book written by Paulo Coelho. Its title in Portuguese is O genio es as rosas.
I haven’t yet gotten my hands on it to read it, but what I do know is that it is a collection of legendary tales for children.
As soon as I am able to get my hands on it, I will tell you all about it here.
The Fifth Mountain Movie
I have not heard anything about The Fifth Mountain being made into a movie, but if I do hear anything, I will be sure to tell you more about it here.
Paulo Coelho New Book
Paulo Coelho’s latest book is The Archer.
In The Archer we meet Tetsuya, a man once famous for his prodigious gift with a bow and arrow but who has since retired from public life, and the boy who comes searching for him.
The boy has many questions, and in answering them Tetsuya illustrates the way of the bow and the tenets of a meaningful life.
Paulo Coelho’s story suggests that living without a connection between action and soul cannot fulfill, that a life constricted by fear of rejection or failure is not a life worth living.
Instead one must take risks, build courage, and embrace the unexpected journey fate has to offer.

I read the Alchemist some years ago and I loved it. Simply written, easy to follow and hard to put down. I am yet to read any other book by Coelho…maybe I’ll get myself The Witch of Portobello.

So well described, and true to the “T”.
I have never read a bad Coehlo book too. I live in Accra, so I buy from Kindle & my Samsung Galaxy now holds 13 titles. I keep on telling myself to get my iPad linked to the net. I just could not wait.
Godspeed & Cheers!
