There aren’t any well-known reputable restaurants near Dar es Salaam airport.

Facilities available at Dar es Salaam airport include:
- Air Cafe
- Flamingo restaurant which serves lunch and dinner
- Travelstart Tanzania Airport Office, a travel agency
- Bhatia traders, a store offering watches, spirits, cognacs and fragrances
- Tasty Life, a fast food restaurant
- Pizza Hut
- KFC
- The Tanzanite Dream (a gem and jewelry shop)
- Dar es salaam city tour office, which offers tourist information and also organizes different tours (Terminal 2), and
- Bao Cafe

KFC Terminal 3 – Julius Nyerere International Airport Dar es Salaam Photos (KFC Julius Nyerere International Airport)
There is both a KFC and a Pizza Hut inside Terminal 3 after clearing immigration.
They are on the left hand side after getting to the top of stairs.

Dar es Salaam Airport Food
If you are travelling through Terminal 3, Dar es Salaam airport’s current terminal for international flights, you do not have any choice other than Bao Café for food before you check in or upon arrival.
Once you check in, though, you have a couple of more eateries on the inside as well as two VIP/Buisness Class lounges (that you can also pay for even if you are not travelling in those classes).
Terminal 2, which now serves domestic and regional scheduled flights, has better food offerings outside the terminal but not such great offerings after check-in.
In my experience of travelling through Dar es Salaam airport, you will find something to eat at the airport, but there are no great culinary offerings there.
