Lyrics DJ Heavy 256 – Best of Mowzey Radio & Weasel Nonstop (pearltunes.com)
DJ Heavy “Best of Mowzey & Weasel Nonstop” (Pearltunes UG) is a mixtape-style nonstop music compilation rather than a single song with its own original lyrics.
It’s a continuous mix created by Ugandan DJ Heavy 256 that blends together many of the most popular tracks by the legendary Ugandan music duo Radio & Weasel (where Mowzey Radio and Weasel Manizo were the core members). DJs often make these nonstop mixes so listeners can enjoy a long, uninterrupted medley of hits in sequence.
Here’s what that means in practical terms:
- This mix runs for over one and a half hours and includes segments from several well-known Radio & Weasel songs instead of having unique vocal lyrics of its own.
- DJs like Heavy 256 blend, transition, and sometimes remix the original vocals and instrumental parts of those tracks to create a continuous listening experience.
- Because it’s a compilation of individual songs strung together, there isn’t a single set of “Nonstop” lyrics to provide — it’s the original lyrics from the duo’s catalog that play one after the other, not new lyrics created for the mix.
Radio & Weasel context:
Radio & Weasel were a hugely influential Ugandan music duo known for fusing Afrobeat, dancehall, and R&B. Mowzey Radio (Moses Ssekibogo) passed away in 2018, but their music remains popular, with many hits like Ability, Juicy Juicy, Bread and Butter, and others being staples in Ugandan pop music history. Their work often appears in nonstop mixes because of its enduring appeal. (Wikipedia)
In summary, “DJ Heavy Best of Mowzey & Weasel Nonstop (Pearltunes UG)” is a DJ mix of Radio & Weasel’s songs, not a standalone song with its own distinct lyrics. If you want, I can help break down the individual songs typically included in that mix and share notable lyrics from them.

I know I am late to the party, but I identify with alot of the sentiment here. I was a radio fan without even realising how much. I wasnt one of them who deliberately sought out the music and yet living in Kampala the music was always there. I was so sad to hear he died, it was then I realised I really did love his music
Hi Joe,
So…since this is your first comment on my blog, allow me to give you the official welcome: welcome to Chick About Town!
Well said: “…and yet living in Kampala the music was always there”. My condolences to you as a fellow Radio fan. May he live on through his music and in our hearts.
