Arusha Airport (not Kilimanjaro International Airport) is located only a 15-minute drive from Masailand Safari & Lodge.

Masailand Safari & Lodge lies on a hill top where 9 cottages sit surrounded by magnificent nature and beautiful gardens and plants.

The location of the hotel is outside the city center but still near it.

Being a little out of town gives it a particularly calm and quiet feel, and so the lodge is a good place to rest and rejuvenate after long flights before a safari, or after a safari.

Rooms at Masailand Lodge

Masailand Safari & Lodge offers three types of accommodation:

  • Deluxe Rooms
  • Executive Rooms, and
  • Family Rooms

The Deluxe rooms have a queen-size bed along with a balcony.

Executive Rooms, which are more like suites really, have a private balcony, a sitting room and two bathrooms.

The Family Rooms at Masailand Safari & Lodge have four interconnected rooms along with four bathrooms, 2 king-size beds, 2 queen-size beds, and a sitting room. Like other rooms at the lodge, the family room also has a private balcony.

From the room balconies at Masailand Safari & Lodge you can enjoy breathtaking views of both Mount Meru and Kisongo Valley.

All rooms at Masailand Safari & Lodge are equipped with air conditioning, spacious bathrooms, tea & coffee makers, flat screen televisions, a Wi-Fi connection, and a minibar.

The windows of the rooms are double glassed to ensure a quiet, relaxing environment.

“Conference Facilities” at Maasai Land Hotel Arusha

Masailand also has conference facilities, a gym, a sauna, an outdoor swimming pool and a sun terrace which are free for residents, and a restaurant for meals.

Check-in time at Masailand Safari & Lodge is any time after 11 a. m., and check-out time is expected to be by 10 a.m.

Children at Masailand Safari Lodge Arusha Tanzania

The hotel welcomes children of all ages, though children aged 13 years and above are counted the same as adults.

If you need to add an extra bed to a room for a teenager between 13 and 16 years of age, the hotel can do this but will charge you an extra US$60 to the price of the room per night.

If you have a baby who is under a year old, you can request a cot to be added to your room at no cost.
