Things to Consider When Booking Cheap Flights to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Dar es Salaam is very hot and humid, and that is never lost even on us, Dar es Salaam residents (though it is great to live in a city that is sunny pretty much all year round!).

As you search for cheap flights to Dar es salaam, Tanzania beware of what months you find those great deals for, especially if you plan to stay in the city and not move on to cooler parts of the country, i.e., the national parks of the northern and southern tourism circuits.

If you are sensitive to heat (and I’m not but still think it necessitates the warning), beware of visiting Dar es Salaam during its hottest months, i.e., end-November to end-March.

Another weather-related period to be careful about is the rainy season between end-March and mid-May.

As a city not very accustomed to rain, Dar es Salaam comes to a halt when it rains heavily, with rain causing crazy traffic jams!

Also, this is not the best time to enjoy some of the greatest things Dar es Salaam has to offer such as beaches and lots of open-air/outdoor activities.
